Attending on behalf of STIF were Mr. Jose Burgos, CEO of STIF Group (France), accompanied by his wife Ms. Natalie Burgos; Mr. Theophile Martinot, Director of Strategic Development; Mr. Ng Zhan Hao , Executive Director of STIF Suzhou and Ms. Wu Jiaqi, Administrative General Manager.

This year marks STIF Suzhou’s 15th anniversary in Wuzhong. During the meeting, CEO Jose Burgos noted that the decision to set up operations in Wuzhong 15 years ago has proven highly strategic. Benefiting from the district’s robust industrial ecosystem and business-friendly environment, the company has achieved remarkable growth.

On this significant milestone, STIF Suzhou reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Wuzhong, with plans to expand its facilities and upgrade production capacity—aiming to further strengthen the company while contributing to the district’s high-quality development.

Secretary Wan Li spoke highly of STIF Suzhou’s achievements in the district. He emphasized the enduring friendship between China and France, noting that France’s advanced expertise and forward-looking approach to innovation provide valuable insights for mutual learning.

We will continue serving as a bridge for exchanges and cooperation between Wuzhong and French cities and enterprises, working together to expand collaboration into broader and deeper areas.

After 15 years of dedicated presence, STIF remains true to its original mission while forging ahead confidently.

With this high-level meeting as a new starting point, STIF Suzhou will further deepen its industrial footprint in Wuzhong, accelerate capacity upgrades and technological innovation, and deliver higher-quality products and services to global customers. At the same time, the company will actively fulfill its corporate responsibilities—contributing to regional high-quality economic development and promoting stronger China-France industrial cooperation.

This summer, STIF team, along with their families, basked in the bright sunshine and arrived at Shengsi Gouqi Island. The azure sea, the golden beach, the peculiar rocks, and the refreshing sea breeze, made for an unforgettable journey. 

【Mountain and Sea Wonders: Elevated Views, Refreshed Spirits】

On the first day, we climbed to the highest point on Gouqi Island—the “Mountain and Sea Wonders.” Standing on the viewing platform, we enjoyed a panoramic view of the entire island. We took in the views of the vast East China Sea, dotted with fishing boats, where the sea and sky blended into one. Even the wind carried a sense of freedom.

【The Abandoned Village: Exploring a ‘Green Fairy Tale’】

On the second day, we explored the legendary ‘Green Fairy Tale’ – an abandoned village. Deserted houses were gently enveloped by ivy, as if we had stepped into a tranquil and mystical fairy tale world!

【Dawang Beach: Laughter Dances with the Waves】

In the afternoon, we arrived at Dawang Beach, the liveliest place on Gouqi Island. The soft golden sand and clear water instantly ignited everyone’s enthusiasm. Team members ​spent time with their families – some relaxed on the sand, while others chased the waves. Children played in the shallows, building sandcastles and collecting shells. Our group photo on the beach – with the blue sky, our blue shirts, the clear sea, and everyone’s smiling faces – perfectly captured this wonderful memory.

【Dongya Cliff: A Rendezvous with the East Sea Sunshine】

On the last day, we visited Dongya Cliff. Where the sunlight touched the sea, the cliffs danced with the waves against a backdrop where the blue sky and ocean complemented each other perfectly. Every casual snapshot looked like a stunning postcard.

This summer, we left our footprints, laughter and memories on Gouqi Island.
