Taihu New Town Government (Wuzhong, Suzhou) and STIF ASIA Formalize Cooperation——Charting a New Course for Industrial Upgrading

July 8, 2025 – A delegation of government leaders from Taihu New Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou, visited Singapore to engage in strategic discussions with STIF ASIA, marking a significant milestone in advancing investment cooperation and driving industrial upgrading between the two parties.

The Wuzhong delegation was led by Ms. Shen Wenqun, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Taihu New Town. Participants included Ms. Chen Lili, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee; Ms. Wu Yan, Director of the District Investment Promotion Bureau; Mr. Xu Zhenwei, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Taihu Sub-district; and Mr. Guan Bingfeng, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Hengjing Sub-district.

Representing STIF ASIA was Chairman Mr. Terence Ng, accompanied by the company’s core management team.

Friendly Talks and Mutual Development

The two sides engaged in constructive discussions, focusing on investment cooperation, production capacity expansion, and policy facilitation. The Taihu New Town leaders commended STIF’s technological strengths and market potential, expressing strong support for its development plans in China, including future opportunities related to land use and supportive local policies.

Secretary Shen Wenqun emphasized, “Wuzhong District is actively cultivating an international business environment. We look forward to collaborating with high-caliber foreign enterprises like STIF to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.”

STIF ASIA Chairman Mr. Terence Ng extended a warm welcome to Secretary Shen and her delegation. During the meeting, he provided a comprehensive overview of STIF Group’s development history, core competencies, long term vision and current strategic priorities. He emphasized that, amid the evolving global economics landscape, the Chinese market’s growth potential and the locational advantages of Wuzhong District are pivotal to the company’s regional roadmap. He affirmed that STIF will further strengthen its investment efforts, with the goal of establishing STIF SUZHOU as a key production hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

July 10, 2025 – STIF ASIA formally participated in the Investment Promotion Seminar organized by the Taihu New Town government of Wuzhong District, Suzhou, in Singapore. Mr. Jonathan Ng, Executive Director of STIF ASIA, signed the cooperation agreement. This marks a new phase in government-enterprise collaboration, injecting strong impetus into STIF Group’s future development.
